 Accurate Plating: A Family Company

Accurate Plating Company was

established in 1950 by Don Orr. In the beginning, the company worked under unorthodox conditions utilizing a mix-

match of variaous wooden vats and a few steel tanks in which our customer's parts were electroplated.

The Company's growth was steady through the 1950's and the 1960's and by the 1970's a third generation of family

ownership was guiding the company and it was now one of the largest and most succesfful plating plants on the West Coast.

With the coming of the"environ-mental Conscious society", came the  need for chemical process changes. We were among the first to convert from cyanide base chemicals to environmental friendly chemicals for our plating baths.

These changes coupled with a relacation and a total re-build in 1985, find our company in strict compliance with all  environ- mental agencies and looking forword to new successes as we enter into our fifth decade: The Challenging 1990's
